MetaView Analyzer is a fast, privacy-focused web app that helps you understand your images on a deeper level. Whether you're a photographer, marketer, journalist, or just curious, our tool gives you instant insight into any image’s metadata, authenticity, and content.
Core Features
Image Upload & Metadata Extraction
Upload any image (JPG, PNG, TIFF, or CR2) via our intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Instantly view detailed EXIF metadata — including camera model, lens, software, timestamp, and more.
AI-Powered Image Analysis
Using Google’s Gemini model, we perform two powerful tasks:
- AI Generation Detection: Determine whether an image was AI-generated, with a confidence score and transparent explanation.
- Hashtag Generation: Get relevant, content-aware hashtags for social media, based on what’s actually in the image.
Privacy-First Architecture
We never store your images. All processing happens in-memory or via secure, temporary upload to our Firebase backend. Files are automatically deleted immediately after analysis.
Export Your Results
- Download EXIF data as `.json` — structured, machine-readable, and named after your image file.
- Export hashtags as `.txt` — ready to copy-paste into your next post, also named after your image.
The Workflow: From Upload to Insight
- Client-Side Processing: Your browser extracts EXIF metadata and generates a lightweight `dataURI` for analysis.
- Server Action: The image data and metadata are securely sent to a Next.js Server Action.
- AI Analysis: A Genkit-powered flow (`analyzeImageContent`) runs both AI detection and hashtag generation in a single call.
- Results Display: Insights are returned and shown in a clean, tabbed interface — ready to explore or export.
